1. Introduction

Cornerstone Tech ("we," "us," or "our") provides a messaging management platform integrated with the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data when you use our services.

2. Data Collection & Minimization

In accordance with Meta’s Data Minimization standards, we only process the following data necessary for service delivery:

  • Business Identifiers: Your Meta Business ID, WABA ID, and Phone Number ID to facilitate API connectivity.
  • Messaging Metadata: Timestamps, delivery status (sent, delivered, read), and recipient phone numbers for analytics and dashboard reporting.
  • Configuration Data: Message templates and media headers required for WhatsApp Cloud API transmission.

3. User Consent & Opt-In

As a condition of using this platform, Business Users must obtain explicit opt-in consent from their customers (End Users) before sending messages via the WhatsApp Business API. This consent must clearly state that communication will occur via WhatsApp.

4. Data Deletion Request (User Data Deletion)

Under Meta Platform Terms, you have the right to request the total deletion of your business data from our systems. We provide several ways to trigger this process:

How to Request Deletion:
  1. Manual Disconnection: Navigate to Settings and click "Disconnect Account". This triggers an immediate purge of your Meta access tokens and stops all data synchronization.
  2. Facebook App Removal: Remove the "Cornerstone Tech" app from your Facebook Profile under Settings & Privacy > Apps and Websites. This will notify our server via the Meta Deletion Callback.
  3. Direct Request: Email our privacy team at support@cornerstonetech.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request."

Confirmation: Upon receipt of a request, we will delete all associated user data within 30 days and provide a confirmation number.

5. Data Security

We implement enterprise-grade security measures including AES-256 encryption for stored tokens and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. We do not store the content of messages beyond the 30-day troubleshooting window required by Meta.
